Klamath County, Oregon – Klamath County officials are alerting residents that a rural road will be closed for a short time in early February as workers carry out scheduled work on it.
The Klamath County Public Works Department says that starting Monday, February 9, Stateline Road will be blocked to traffic between Adams Point Road and Gaines Road. The shutdown will start at 7 a.m. and last until Wednesday, February 11, when it will conclude around 5 p.m.
During this time, drivers won’t be allowed to drive through the part of Stateline Road while closed. The county will set up a specific detour route and already provided a map showing the alternate road to help drivers to navigate around the closure.
There will be traffic management measures in place in the work zone to help drivers and keep everyone safe. However, county officials are encouraging motorists to plan ahead and use alternative routes whenever possible to avoid delays.
The Public Works Department pointed out that the closure is just temporary and needed to finish scheduled work safely and efficiently. Residents and travelers who regularly use Stateline Road are advised to allow extra travel time and remain alert for posted signs and instructions.
If you have any questions or concerns about the closure, you can call Klamath County Public Works Director Jeremy Morris at 541-883-4696 for further information.
