Klamath Falls, Oregon – With its recently launched Parks Concession Pilot Program for the 2025 season, the City of Klamath Falls is implementing a creative strategy to improve the park-going experience. By including food trucks, trailers, and carts into the natural environment of municipal parks, this project aims to fill local parks with a range of food and drink options.
As urban areas continue to expand and evolve, Klamath Falls is looking to harness the vibrancy and entrepreneurial spirit of its community. Aiming to increase local foot activity and give more convenience, this program is a strategic effort to make parks more attractive and accessible to both locals and visitors.
The City of Klamath Falls has opened its doors to applications from local food vendors, encouraging them to take part in this promising opportunity. Now eligible for a specified area in one of the city’s parks, which are praised for their beauty and community-oriented environment, interested food truck, trailer, and cart operators may apply. But, spaces are limited and vendors are encouraged to apply early to guarantee their spot.

City authorities underlined that their decision will give a vast spectrum of gastronomic options first priority to fit the different preferences of park guests. All vendors have to satisfy certain requirements and follow rigorous health and safety rules set by the city and its partner organizations to guarantee a high level of service and preserve public health safety.
