Klamath Falls, Oregon – A new grocery option is preparing to open its doors in Klamath Falls, marking another milestone for an employee-owned retailer continuing to expand across the region. WinCo Foods has announced that its Klamath Falls location will begin serving customers on Monday, March 2, at 9 a.m., becoming the company’s 145th store operated under its employee-ownership model.
The store is located at 2985 Shasta Way and will remain open around the clock, seven days a week, offering residents continuous access to groceries and household essentials. Company representatives note that the 24-hour schedule is designed to give shoppers flexibility in choosing when to visit, whether early in the morning, late at night, or any time in between.
Shoppers visiting the new location will encounter a few practices that differ from traditional supermarkets. WinCo Foods does not accept credit cards but allows payment through debit cards, checks, cash, and EBT. Customers also bag their own groceries at checkout, a system the company says allows individuals to organize purchases according to personal preference. No membership is required to shop at the store.

Opening day will include limited giveaway items available while supplies last, with one item offered per family. The company is also directing job seekers to its online careers portal, where available positions can be searched by location and applications submitted electronically. If a specific city does not appear in listings, it indicates hiring is not currently active, though applicants are encouraged to check back periodically.
With the upcoming launch, the Klamath Falls store adds to WinCo Foods’ growing network of employee-owned locations while introducing a new, continuously operating grocery destination for the local community.
