Klamath Falls, Oregon – As the Klamath County Fair opens August 1st at the fairgrounds in Klamath Falls, be ready for four days of nonstop entertainment and community spirit. Building on the record-breaking success of previous year, this year’s fair offers even more attractions combining classic favorites with intriguing new additions.
Fair Manager Derrick Rowley emphasized the dedication of the fair to helping local businesses and youth initiatives.
““We’ve made significant changes to accommodate the growth in our 4-H and FFA participation,” Rowley said recently to Klamath Falls News.
Comprising $1.7 million and featuring 380 young people and their 441 project animals, last year’s Junior Livestock Auction was evidence of the community’s support.

With its enhanced offers and better facilities, the 2024 fair is likely to set new records. Notably, the arrangement of project animals into species-specific barns has improved the treatment and presentation of the animals, therefore enhancing the learning opportunities for both viewers and participants.
Starting with a Thursday night concert by rapper Yung Gravy, music junkies have much to look forward. Following shows from Pecos and the Rooftops, the musical program includes country artist Billy Currington. Tickets for several of the shows are still available for sale.
Friday will also feature the Insanity Fest, which will highlight professional lawnmower racing and freestyle motorcyclists, so providing exciting entertainment for all ages. Apart from the entertainment value of music and motorsports, the fair will present its regular range of entertaining attractions, mouthwatering cuisine, and interesting animal shows. On Saturday night, country superstar Billy Currington, known for his eleven number-one hits, will headline the Event Center. Check the full schedule here.
