Klamath County to honor Vietnam veterans with special luncheon and ceremony this fall

Klamath Falls, Oregon – The Klamath County Veteran’s Service Office, in collaboration with the NCOA, is announcing a special event dedicated to honoring Vietnam veterans who were awarded the Vietnam Veteran ribbon. This heartfelt appreciation event is scheduled for September 28, 2024, at the Klamath County Fairgrounds Event Center.

A Day of Gratitude and Recognition

Vietnam veterans who hold the Vietnam Veteran ribbon are invited to join the Welcome Home luncheon as a gesture of gratitude for their invaluable service during the Vietnam War. The event will commence with doors opening at 12:00 PM. Attendees can enjoy a luncheon from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by an awards ceremony starting at 2:30 PM, where the community will formally express their appreciation.
