Klamath Falls, Oregon – The Klamath Falls Police Beneficiary Association has started a new scholarship program to help high school seniors in the area get ready for the next stage in their education. The opportunity is meant to help kids who want to go to an accredited college, university, or trade school full-time in the next school year.
The association will give out two $1,000 scholarships through this initiative. The money is meant to help pay for school for graduating seniors who show they are serious about school and have a clear plan for their future. To be eligible, students must be finishing high school in the area and enrolling in either a two-year or four-year college or or an accredited trade school.

As part of the selection process, applicants must send in a number of things. These include a letter of interest or a resume that lists their goals and accomplishments, as well as an essay. The association has also imposed a minimum academic criteria, which means that applicants must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 to be considered. Students also need to send in two letters of recommendation to back up their application.
The scholarship demonstrates that the group continues to be interested in promoting education and honoring the hard work of students who are getting ready to go to college or a professional training program.
