Prom night event for individuals with special needs to be held in Klamath Falls

Klamath Falls, Oregon – “Night to Shine” is a unique prom experience organized with the purpose of creating unforgettable moments for individuals with special needs.

A Prom Night to Remember

Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, “Night to Shine” is an exemplary event that reflects the foundation’s commitment to celebrating people with special needs. This entirely complimentary experience is made possible through the collaboration of local churches worldwide, aiming to provide a VIP prom night filled with joy and glamour.

Scheduled for February 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Running Y Resort in Klamath Falls, OR, the event is set to dazzle its guests. Open to individuals with disabilities aged 21 and older, “Night to Shine” ensures an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and celebrated.

The evening is meticulously planned to ensure every participant feels like royalty. From the moment guests step onto the red carpet, they are greeted by cheering crowds and ‘paparazzi’, ensuring a grand entrance. The prom includes various stations designed to pamper the guests, including hair and makeup, shoe shining, and even limousine rides. Additionally, attendees can look forward to corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors, and a vibrant dance floor, culminating in a crowning ceremony where each guest is honored as a king or queen of the prom.

Since its inception in 2015, “Night to Shine” has witnessed tremendous growth. From 44 host churches and 15,000 volunteers celebrating over 7,000 guests in its first year to an astounding 721 host churches and 215,000 volunteers coming together in February 2020 to honor 110,000 guests with special needs, the event’s expansion is a testament to its profound impact.
