Oregon Tech Basketball: From strong openers to consistent finishers in recent victory

Klamath Falls, Oregon – Oregon Tech achieved a season-best 64% success rate in their field goals, cruising to a 91-62 victory over Evergreen State at the Constantino Recreation Center.

The Hustlin’ Owls, now 8-2 overall and 3-1 in the CCC, led throughout the game, boosting their away record to 5-0 after completing their weekend tour in Washington.

All Oregon Tech players got at least eight minutes on the court, with five scoring double digits. The team dominated in rebounds, ending with a 41-20 advantage.

Erik Fraser opened the scoring with seven points, and Kam Osborn added eight, contributing to a 29-7 lead in the first eight minutes. The Owls’ lead stayed above 13 points for the remainder of the game.

Fraser, Keegan Shivers, and Kody Bauman each scored 11 points. Osborn and Blake Jensen contributed 10 points each. Logan Thebiay set personal records with nine points and seven rebounds, Grant Tull scored seven, and Jackson Cooper led with eight rebounds. Jamison Guerra, though not scoring, made a personal best of 12 assists.

Deondre Russ was the top scorer for the Geoducks with 12 points.

Next, the Hustlin’ Owls face Southern Oregon in Ashland on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
